Knit Polo Shirts for Women

A knit polo is a different thing from a jersey polo. The collar is soft instead of stiff, the yarn drapes instead of standing up, and the short sleeve makes it a piece that moves between home, office and evening without a change of clothes.

Solid or argyle

The cashmere polo is solid and quiet — as convincing on its own as under a cardigan or a light blazer. The argyle polo in merino-cashmere sets a pattern against that: knitted in using the intarsia technique, every block of color on its own thread, the back free of floats and therefore as clean as the front.

Why the diamond edges run soft

Because the yarn is brushed. The raised fibers settle lightly over the color change. With unbrushed yarn the edges stand harder — but the soft handle is missing. That is a deliberate decision, not a flaw in the finish.

Fit and care

Both polos run true to size. If you want to wear one over a shirt, take a size up. Wash cold by hand or on the wool cycle at 30 °C, then dry flat.
