We started with scarves four years ago, because there was nothing I liked doing more in winter than buying myself one or two new ones. It is the easiest way to give a good coat you have had for years a new look. To give your face a little lift with some color, depending on the season and your make-up — or simply to dress warmly. In winter, a scarf is a loyal companion to me, like a best friend.

Material and care

95% merino wool, 5% cashmere. The yarn is brushed: the fiber ends are raised, which makes the surface softer and the handle fuller.

• Hand wash cold with a mild wool detergent
• Or professional dry cleaning on a gentle program
• Do not bleach, do not tumble dry
• Do not iron hot
• Dry flat and reshape
• Store folded, do not hang
• Remove pilling with a wool comb

Frequently asked questions

How do I tie it?
Lay the point at the front across your chest, cross the two long ends behind your neck and tuck them in under the triangle at the front. If you prefer it looser, simply let the ends fall over one another at the front.

Does it slip?
The fine knit has more grip than woven silk and therefore stays in place better. With the ends tucked in at the front, it sits all day.

Does merino wool itch at the neck?
Merino is considerably finer than classic virgin wool and lies flatter on the skin. The brushing and the cashmere content make the surface softer still — this scarf is made to be worn right against the neck.
