The cashmere scarf: 5 ways to tie it

One scarf, five moves. They all work with the large cashmere scarf (200 × 70 cm) — and none of them takes practice.

1. The loose loop

Lay it once around the neck, let both ends hang at the front. With a coat, when you want just a hint of warmth.

2. The French knot

Fold the scarf in half, lay it around the neck, pull the open ends through the loop. It stays put without pressing.

3. As a cape

Open over the shoulders, one end forward. Over a blazer, when the room is too cool.

4. Wrapped twice

Twice around the neck, ends tucked in at the front. The move for cold days.

5. As a stole

Laid long over both arms — in the evening, over a dress.
